Thank you Grandma for treating me as your own grandaughter. I will greatly miss you. I will never forget how you opened the doors to your home when I needed a peaceful place to stay. God has truly used you to make me a much better person. I love you so much and you will never be forgotten. I am confident that you are in a much better place now. God Bless You!!!
To The Desyuo Family;
It is so obvious to the “world” that knows all of you that Mama Desyuo was an amazing woman. To be the matriarch of such a wonderful, talented family says more than words can say. What a legacy she has produced in her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Our prayers are with you as you celebrate her amazing life and her homegoing.
Because of Christ,
Bro. Tim & Mrs. Melissa
“She fought a good fight… She finished her course…
She kept the faith. Henceforth there is laid up for her
a crown of righteousness.” – II Tim. 4:7-8.
With the commendation she received from the Lord
“Well done…thou good and faithful servant”, the occasion of
her departure becomes a CELEBRATION. “Precious is the sight
of the Lord is the death of His saints.”
My grandfather is Jim, who is the youngest son of Mama. I call Mama Desuyo “Abuela” sometimes. Abuela was very nice to me all her life. Such as sending me cards on my birthday, letting me ask her questions, and teaching me about God. Abuela lived the perfect life–especially now that she’s in heaven!

Although I can’t be there in person, I celebrate Mama Desuyo’s life and memory through my prayers and thoughts! My prayers are with you as you go through this time of celebrating a life well done, all the while also missing a woman who has left her mark of Christ on generations to come. I can only imagine that she heard “Well done my good and faithful servant” upon entering heaven’s gates.
I am happy knowing that even though you will not see my happiness on my wedding day next month, you will still be there to share it with me grandma. I am glad that you were with us long enough to share the youngest generation of this family. The fact that you were with us long enough to see Cairon, Elora, and Teygan astounds me. For you to have held me as a baby, lie with me, and love me as an infant, and then to do the same with my own three children makes me happy because I know it added to the fulfillment of your time on earth. You lived a great life filled with happiness that spread throughout a family of hundreds of people, all derived from your own flesh, and now you are seeing eternal happiness as a result of the many lives you touched!
I miss you mama. I still remember watching those boring tv shows with you on my summer vacations and I miss that. I’m sad that my kids will not remember their times with you because they are so young but at least I got some good pictures for them to cherish.
Although I haven’t seen your Mom for many years, I still remember her smiling and friendly face. I enjoyed talking with her during the few family parties I’ve attended. She was a wonderful woman and I share with you the pain of losing her. May her soul rest in peace in the eternal kingdom.

Road To Eternity:
Life is but a stopping place,
A pause in what’s to be,
A resting place along the road,
To sweet eternity.
We all have different journeys,
Different paths along the way,
We are all meant to learn some things,
But never meant to stay…
Our destination is a place,
Far greater than we know,
For some the journey’s quicker,
For some the journey’s slow.
But when the journey finally ends,
We’ll claim a great reward,
And find an everlasting peace,
Together with the Lord.
We love and will miss you mama. You made just an impact on our lives.
